My friends and former clients, Jorge and Esmeralda Dives, came by the office today so I could give them tickets to the Astros game on
Thursday. Back in 2012, Jorge suffered a traumatic brain injury from a tire explosion, and he has had a long road to recovery.
While I am proud of the settlement we obtained for Jorge from the companies that caused his life-changing injury, I’m more proud of Jorge’s hard work and determination to continue to try to get better every day. His unwillingness to let his limitations keep him down has been an inspiration to everyone at the firm.
Also, let’s not forget his wife, Esmeralda, who has always been by his side to help him through his recovery and the new obstacles he now faces in life.
