Mr. Octavio Suarez-Lopez was the victim of an unfortunate set of circumstances. He was tasked with guarding an establishment with a history of violent incidents, but was never warned about the dangers he would face in his task. In April 2013, Octavio was shot 5 times as he bravely stood guard, leaving him in a coma for 20 days and months more in the hospital. Doctors told him he would never walk again, but Octavio has battled to recover with the same courage he brought to his watch. He is truly a testament to the power of will and a fighting spirit.
Attorneys Josh Collum and Benjamin Roberts fought for Octavio to recover from those responsible, resulting in judgements in excess of $3 million. The Pinkerton Law Firm, PLLC and Octavio want to thank everyone involved in Octavio’s recovery, including Octavio’s wife, Elizabeth Barron Camacho, and @EasyServeTx.
